Marbles such as Carrara and Calacutta are often sort after for flooring, as they have an elegance and beauty which is timeless. However, these marbles have a high level of porosity and without proper sealing they will start to show evidence of wear and tear within a short period of time.
Depending on the finish required, we use our Mirror Image Marble Polishing process or high quality impregnating sealers to protect these floors surfaces.
Marble floors will need to be repolished or rehoned on a regular basis to keep them looking pristine. However, the regularity of the repolishing will depend on the level of foot traffic over the stone surfaces.
